Abstract

Technology and educational activities are closely related in the successful learning application.
With the improvement of technology, educational activities can be packaged in a form that is more
interesting, attractive, fun, and not weary. This can increase the ability of students to capture the
teaching material that has been delivered. Currently, the learning process on SDLB PGRI
Singojuruh is still done conventionally. The media is less able to improve the capability of
tunagrahita learners toward the given material. In this research, develop the website as an
interactive learning media for tunagrahita students grade 1 semester 1 in SDLB PGRI Singojuruh,
Banyuwangi.
The material that used has been established by the government and packaged into interactive
learning media becomes more interesting than conventional methods. The material in the media
contains sound effects and motion effects to explain the options so as to attract more attention and
increase the capture of learners. Thus can help children with Tunagrahita more understanding of
the learning given by the teacher. Learning media is developed by using HTML 5 web
programming language and CSS3. HTML 5 and CSS3 is one of the web programming languages
that support multimedia technology. With the existence of interactive learning media is expected to
learners with special needs more able to receive material that has been established in the existing
basic competence.
