SISTEM INFORMASI PERAMALAN PENJUALAN KRIPIK PISANG MENGGUNAKAN METODE DOUBLE EXPONENTIAL SMOOTHING BERBASIS WEB PADA TOKO TIGA PUTRA DI LUMAJANG

Abstract

Lumajang Regency has great potential to develop banana chips agribusiness because Lumajang is
one of the largest banana-producing regions based on data from the Technical Implementation
Unit of Lumajang District Agricultural Service Office (UPTD). Toko Tiga Putra is a family owned
business, this business has started from 2010 until now. The problem that usually arises in the
banana chips business at Toko Tiga Putra is that the store often lacks of stock, so that it can not
meet desired demand by the customers and also how to predict the sales of banana chips in the
future based on previously recorded data.Prediction is very influential on the decision to determine
the number of sales of banana chips to be sold by Toko Tiga Putra in the coming months. The
method used in this study is Double Exponential Smoothing, the method is used to calculate sales
forecasting banana chips. The purpose of this study is the establishment of an Information System
Forecasting Sales of Banana Chips at Toko Tiga Putra by using Double Exponential Smoothing
Method.This study also will produce an application information system forecasting sales of banana
chips using Double Exponential smoothing method that can be used to predict the amount of sales
of banana chips sold in the present and future.
