Marketing information system is a komputer-based system that works together with other functional
information systems to support the company's management in solving problems. Customer
satisfaction is the goal of the company. With satisfied customers can encourage consumers to be
loyal customers. To know the level of customer satisfaction then the need for a system in terms of
marketing to facilitate the company obtain information from consumers. Catering 1 Java is a
culinary business that serves orders for weddings, celebrations and so forth. At first this business
did not have a special system to provide satisfaction to consumers. Knowing how important a
company's marketing system is to getting customer satisfaction, Catering 1 Java starts by
implementing a marketing information system. By starting a marketing information system is
expected to obtain customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of
marketing information systems on customer satisfaction in catering 1 Java. This type of research
is an exploratory research. The population of this research is 319 and the research sample is 80.
From the calculation of SPSS 16.0 for the test of F obtained value Fhitung 158.374 with the value
of probability smaller than the significant level (α = 5%) is 0.00 <0.05. So it can be concluded that
there is influence of information systems marketing to customer satisfaction in catering 1 Java.
