Abstract

The existence of local wisdom-based edutourism with the utilization on campus infrastructures is relatively important to be optimized in all universities in Indonesia. The Integrated Edusportainment Program which offers a multi-dimensional educational tour package combining UNIMED's existing facilities and intelligence bodily-kinesthetic activities with the literacy of Batak’s cultural heritage that further embodying the competitive advantage of the program. The integrated-activities is performed as the actualization of The Science and Technology for Creativity and Campus Innovation Program (IbKIK) – currently known as The Campus’ Intellectual Product Development Program (PPUPIK) – aiming not only limited into preserving Batak’s culture for young generation but also highlighting the UNIMED’s contribution as one of leading national university towards facilitating the government's initiative program agenda setting the Province of Sumatera Utara – the Danau Toba Area in particular – as a leading tourist destinations “The Monaco of Asia”. The soft-launching event was successfully executed on July 22nd, 2017 involving 50 students from Grade 6th of SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu 36 Medan Denai. The activities interactively focused on three segments consisting the Smart Outbound Games (labyrinth, ornament ball, slingshot, puzzle and ball relay games; The Batak’s culinary workshop (Ombus-Ombus and Itak-Itak Pohul) and; the Traditional Batak Toba (Tor-Tor) dance workshop.
