Abstract

Production cycle owned by PT. Pindad can now be hampered by the presence of manual systems that are still enforced due to the limitations of advanced equipment. The manual process in question is the sorting of ammunition visually by the human eye. Limitations and abilities possessed by the human eye often result in the emergence of constraints such as inaccurate sorting that can lead to the escape of defective munitions for use by consumers. To support the quality improvement of production of Munisi at PT. Pindad then the sorting process is done automatically using IR LED sensors, Phototransistor and Photodioda are controlled using Microcontroller to sort between the feasible and unfeasible ammunition.
