Abstract

Konawe Islands District has a variety of unique and interesting tourist objects, which has the potential to be managed and developed into a great tourism. But the potential of this tourism can not be known by tourists, due to lack of information about tourism in Konawe Islands District. In addition, the information provided so far is only static. Therefore required a method of Geographic Information System that can process data and maps on a potential tourist attraction. This information system provides output data in the form of information location of the region, subdistrict, location of the road, as well as tourism objects. Presentation of information in the form of a web-based map, making it easier to access by many users. With the existence of this geographic information system can help users in getting information about the tourist attraction spread in Konawe Islands region of the Islands.
