PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI IBU-IBU PKK MENJADI KADER LINGKUNGAN MELALUI KEGIATAN PENANAMAN VERTIKULTUR DAN PEMBUATAN PUPUK PADAT DAN CAIR DI KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Utilization of home garden yard is a target of the government of Malang. The goal is to utilize the yard of the house through vertical planting. Vertical crops in question is in addition to helping mothers in holding fresh and organic vegetables, can also increase the aesthetics of residential areas. PKK mothers who are targeted in this Community Service activity is at Joyogrand Housing. The problem of PKK mothers is the lack of activity at the meeting of PKK mothers who are just social gathering so that the decreasing sense of togetherness and physical sociality. Based on the observation of the socialization and the training activities held, it was found that from three months of discussion and training, the number of participants gathering social gathering PKK housewives Joyogrand more and more coming. This shows significantly that PKK mothers are increasingly increasing the level of togetherness and awareness of the environment. And based on the results of dance questionnaire responses of PKK mothers to this program is 80% of ignorance and feel useful is having a good response. So through vertikultur planting activities and solid and liquid fertilizer training, the potential of PKK Mothers grows as environmentally conscious citizens.
