PENYULUHAN PENGEMBANGAN KELEMBAGAAN BIDANG SOSIAL BUDAYA DI SATUAN PERMUKIMAN TRANSMIGRASI TANGGUL HARAPAN PROVINSI KALIMANTAN TENGAH

Abstract

In the Tangguh Transmigration Settlement Unit has been established institutional government and community institutions, but the institutional has not functioned optimally. This is because there is no institutional work program, lack of communication between the board and members of the institution, and the limited facilities and infrastructure to support the activities of the institution. Although several coaching and training programs have been conducted, the program has not yet been fully achieved. The purpose of this extension activity is to (1) Establish, strengthen and develop the capacity of village government institutions and sociocultural institutions in transmigration settlement units to be functional; (2) Implementing the management of social and cultural institutions. This method of extension activity is done by observation, indeepth interview, counseling, learning, consultation, and evaluation. Outcome of extension activities (1) Increased coordination, synchronization and integration of assistance programs and empowerment of transmigration communities; (2) The need to maintain, utilize and empower trained cadres; (3) Sustainability of socio-cultural institutional program in the location of Satuan Kimtrans Tanggul Harapan is required; (4) The need for motivation or motivation especially human resources (both board, member of board and citizen) for each institutional activity.
