Abstract
This research contains about making application of online test of new student
acceptance at Stikes Dr.Soetomo Hospital Foundation with approach of
information technology. This research is based on the constraints in the process of
correction and processing of new student admissions data at the Stikes Foundation
Dr.Soetomo Hospital. Mistakes in processing new student admissions data can
occur especially in correction of answers. In terms of making reports to the
leadership also took a long time in presenting it. Therefore it is necessary to
approach the online test information system for new students on campus Stikes
Foundation Dr.Soetomo Hospital, so that the process of correction and processing
of new student admissions data can run effectively and efficiently. This research
uses waterfall method in making the application while for testing system using
blackbox method. This research produces an online test application with menus
used for 3 users ie admin applications, tutors / questioners and examinees. Menu
for user admin application is user menu, tutorial lesson, question bank, module
lesson, change password and usage instructions. Menu for user tutor that is
tutorial lesson, question bank, module lesson, change password and instruction
manual. While the menu for the examinee user is a lesson module, change the
password and instructions for use.
