ANALISIS PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI TERHADAP PENGANGGURAN TERBUKA DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Economic growth will be positively correlated to employment that will reduce unemployment and poverty. However, the magnitude of the impact is difficult to predict, indicate the opposite direction. The impact of economic growth on poverty reduction will be smaller if the economic growth is associated with worsening income distribution. The pace of economic growth appears to occur only in the service sector which is lacking in employment and alleviate poverty. It menbuktikan government's inability to reduce the unemployment rate of less than 6% showed a failure of economic growth to absorb the labor force, and poverty rate of 6.4% in Indonesia has been slow.
