Abstract

Visual hand tracking is done by using an image capture tool such as a camera
for further be processed by using a computer system to get more extracted
information. Hand gesture recognition are interpreted by the computer with a
specific purpose, such as interactive communication with computer software
without touch the keyboard, screen or mouse. From the hand extraction, it can
be used to obtain the number of fingers and speech cues for the deaf.
The convex hull algorithm will used as method for hand segmentation after
applied the HSV skin filter detector. The freeman chain code will be used to
fingers and wrist segmentation.
