Abstract

Many merchant seasoners still need quality improvement to supplement their income. Improving the quality that needs to be done is in the process roasted peanuts and packings. In the roasting process can save time and packanging is done well the the product will be more qualified and meet consumer demand and expand the reach of marketing. Bumbu pecel “Firda” and “Srikandi” spices in Malang do not have the optimal roasting and packing process yet. The objective of this program is to improve the quality of peanut roasting process and the packanging of pecel spices in the hope of fulfilling the cosumer demand and the broader range of partner marketing, so that the partner”s income will increase and can improve the living standard of the family. Activities undertaken on partners is to provide counseling, training and mentoring in making packaging designs to be more attractive in marketing and how to analyze business profit and loss in the form of BEP analysis and granting of peanut roasting apparatus, pecel spice packaging and expired date machine tailored to needs partners in developing their business so that the resulting product will be more hygienic and last longer and know the limit of expired product. In addition, it provides marketing communication techniques to further develop through internet media and personal selling. The result of this activity is the increase of the average producting amount from 208 cup to 333 cup on partner I and on partner II from 48 units to an average of 96 units with profit increase of 60% and 46%.
