PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERUSAHAAN FURNITURE PADA UD. ABADI MEBEL AMBON

Abstract

UD. Abadi Mebel Ambon (UD AMA) is a company that designs, manufactures and sells quality, modern and minimalist furniture. Increasing number of customers and expanded of marketing area, this company needs information systems that can support its business processes. Currently, most transactions such as sales, purchases and stock of goods, are still done manually. Since it has not manage well, it often leads to errors in reporting. The purpose of this study is to design an information system of furniture company that can manage sales transactions, purchase and stock of goods and produce accurate periodic reports. The design of information system is done using UML (Unified Modeling Language) namely use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram and user interface. Result of this study is an information system design of furniture company that suitable with business process in UD. AMA and could be implemented into a web-based information system.
